– World Wrestling Entertainment’s latest show “NXT”, which will replace the ECW brand in March, will focus heavily on the current Florida Championship Wrestling developmental roster. The show will help create new stars that would then be moved to the Raw or Smackdown brand.
FCW shed some lgiht on the NXT show by releasing a press release earlier today announcing details on Friday night’s show featuring an appearance by Edge.
The press release noted “With speculation rife regarding the imminent debut of WWE’s new television show ‘WWE-NXT,’ all FCW Superstars are sure to be at their best as they attempt to impress top brass in WWE and secure spots on the new show’s roster. And with Edge watching over the evening’s proceedings, the stakes have never been higher.”
