Loading ...– TMZ.com now has an article online with comments from the woman who took an elbow to the face from Gregory “Hurricane” Helms on Wednesday. She says she has no ill feelings towards Helms, as she was merely “collateral damage” in a “Play fight”.
The woman, Ashley Storer, said the whole thing went down after the group finished boozing at a local Kentucky bar, and then crammed into a taxi cab.
Storer said she somehow got seated in the middle of Helms & Jericho who then began to play fight, when things then “escalated because we were drunk.”
Storer says she took an elbow to the cheek, and the cab driver pulled over at a nearby gas station. This then resulted in Helm & Jericho being arrested for being intoxicated in public. Storer claims Matt Hardy was completely sober.
Storer did say the cops blew this out of proportion, but admits that she may of exacerbated the situation because “I was crying and drunk and tired from being out all night and I just wanted to leave.”
