– The highly anticipated “Monday Night Wars” returns tonight as Monday Night Raw & TNA Impact will go head to head for the first time ever.
TNA Impact begins tonight at 8pm EST. The show will be a special three hour broadcast. The show is being hyped as the debut of Hulk Hogan. Eric Bischoff has teased other “surprises” are in store for fans tonight. Such names rumored to debut/return on tonight’s broadcast include Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, Ken Anderson, Ric Flair, Rob Van Dam, Shannon Moore, and Angelina Love. TNA Knockouts Championship::
Tara(c) vs. ODB
Steel Cage Asylum For Amazing Red’s X-Division Championship
Sarita & Taylor Wilde vs. Hamada & Awesome Kong.
Plus the debut of Bubba The Love Sponge as TNA’s new backstage interviewer.
Monday Night Raw begins at its normal starting time of 9pm EST. The guest host for tonight’s show is WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart who hasn’t been on WWE live television in over 12 years. It is also being reported that the Hart Dynasty is in town for tonight’s broadcast. WWE has also confirmed a variety of big matches for tonight’s show including:
Unified Tag Championship
DX(c) vs. Jerishow
Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston
Also due to the injury she sustained last week, Melina will most likely be dropping the Divas Championship. It should also be noted that John Cena will not be at tonight’s show due to appearing at the Fiesta Bowl across the country.
