– The USA Network issued a press release today announcing their return to the top spot in the cable rankings. ESPN had won the head to head battle over recent weeks during the fall season of their Monday Night Football coverage. With USA back on top, this prompted the press release to be issued.

USA averaged 3.47 million viewers in prime time compared to 3.09 million viewers for ESPN. USA included Monday Night Raw’s strong showing with 5.59 million viewers explaining how the victory was won.

USA also said that Raw was the “most watched entertainment program in cable prime.” USA also stated that Raw had added one million viewers from week to week.
