– It is now being reported that Rey Mysterio will undergo a much less invasive surgery to repair his ACL. With opting for this type of surgery, his return will be sooner than first thought. The hope is that Mysterio would be able to return by the Royal Rumble.
The initial fear within the company is that Mysterio would be out 6-9 months, but Mysterio wants to get back in the ring as soon as possible. He will still need a full scale surgery later down the line.
