– As we reported earlier this month, Smackdown superstar Rey Mysterio has been working matches with extremely bad knees. There have been some reports indicating that his knees were so bad, that it was basically bone on bone. Jim Ross hinted that Mysterio will be taking the necessary time off television, so that he can have any necessary surgery done to correct the problem.
This is why WWE went forward with the angle in which Batista “injured” Mysterio, so that they could write him out of storylines temporarily.
