Shawn’s Thoughts: Raw Is On A Crazy Train!

– Last night, World Wrestling Entertainment continued with elevating their younger talent, but yet at the same time did nothing when it comes to promoting Survivor Series. Here is a run down.

Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne: The crowd definitely enjoyed pretty much everything they did. You could tell they really don’t watch wrestling, but they made up for it. Did anyone catch Ozzy saying “He’s F**** Tall” to Sharon (Off mic) when Great Khali came out? That is just priceless. Sharon’s “really” catch phrase got the crowd to pop. Really?

Sheamus: Watching the match between Sheamus & Jamie Noble, my immediate thought was “Why in the hell couldn’t of WWE done this last week??!!!”. When Sheamus made his “Raw debut” last week, he said on camera that “he wanted to make an impact” (along those lines) but the match was a complete bore. Sheamus really did make an impact last night for sure. Wow did Noble sell that injury or what!

The Miz & Evan Bourne: Solid match between the two with Bourne getting some good offense even though he ended up losing. I would of liked to of seen the match go on for a little longer though.

Kofi Kingston: Some fans may of gotten aggravated when the singles match between Kingston & Orton was turned into a three man tag team match, but business wise it was a great decision. Why give fans this match on Raw when they can “tease” the match and give it to them on a PPV or at least the main event of Raw. Kofi got some great offense in the short lived singles match, and I for one am glad they dropped the Jamaican gimmick. I do think they need to change his theme music though.

Jericho vs. Cena vs. Big Show: Another solid match that was booked logically (Scary ain’t it?) . This made the heels (Jerishow) look strong with them going into Survivor Series facing off against Undertaker.

DX & Cena Segment: All I have to say about this one is “Take that PG Programming!”

Raw’s Got Talent: Surprisingly MTV.com has an article online saying this was the best segment of the show. What was that writer smoking? It was mildly entertaining. We got our “Santino Comedy fix” for the week, Chris Masters flexing his pecs, which followed by Chavo Guerrero & Jillian Hall doing their version of a song that Ozzy & Lita Ford did. Nice slap by Sharon Osbourne though!

Great Khali Returns: A few weeks ago Great Khali was written out of storylines after being injured by Kane. This was all done so that Khali could have some issues with his knees taken care of. What made no logical sense though is have him return on Raw instead of Smackdown. On the bright side of things, he was entertaining.
