– Tonight’s Total Extreme Comedy event which will feature TNA superstar Mick Foley doing a stand up routine has been postponed due to the possibility of the New York Yankees clinching their 27th World Series win tonight. Here is the official press release:

Hollywood, CA (November 1, 2009) – The scheduled 10/2 Total Extreme Comedy show featuring Mick Foley and Colt Cabana at the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC has been canceled due to the World Series and is being rescheduled for a later date.

Mick Foley said “Sorry to disappoint people who had their hearts set on our shows at Gotham, but we are going to postpone the shows due to the possibilities of World Series mayhem should the Yankee’s prevail. I know I wouldn’t want to see me on such a big baseball night. And if you’re honest with yourself, neither would you.”

Ticket holders with questions are encouraged to call Gotham at 212-367-9000. Please visit totalextremecomedy.com later this week for information on the rescheduled date.
