– WWE star The Great Khali was suspended by the Punjab police on Wednesday for taking an “unauthorized leave”. The WWE star serves as assistant sub inspector in his home country. He was technically on leave until December of last year and then applied for a five year “extraordinary leave” that police officials felt he was not entitled to. “As per the rule, (Khali) was not entitled to any further leave and there was no option other than to suspend him,” Punjab police Commandant Arunpal Singh stated.
