John Morrison Speaks About His Match With The Miz

In an article with Slam Wrestling, John Morrison was interviewed about his match with The Miz at Bragging Rights on Sunday night.

“I’m surprised that The Miz is the U.S. champ,” says Morrison of his former tag-team partner. “He’s super annoying and obnoxious. I know I can beat him.”

Morrison also commented about WWE splitting the Morrison/Miz duo

“There was no apprehension on my part,” he says. “I’d already been successful at singles wrestling. We had a lot of fun as a team. We’d faced The Hardys, DX, Jimmy Yang and Shannon Moore — the top teams. As far as sports entertainment goes, a lot of times change is good.

“The split would have been good if it wasn’t for The Miz making some kind of weird statement (with an unprovoked attack on his former partner). It’s OK. What goes around comes around. He’s going to get hit with some Moonlight Drive and Starship Pain.”
