– The early Summerslam buyrates are in, and it is estimated by World Wrestling Entertainment that WWE’s “Biggest Party of the Summer” received an estimated 375,000-380,000 buys. The actual date of the estimate was on August 31st, only eight days after the PPV, so it is possible the number will go higher. In retrospect, Summerslam 2008 drew 500,000 buys.
