Off Air Notes From Monday Night Raw

Thanks To Ahmed Khokhar & ProWrestling.net for this report:

Lillian sang the Canadian National Anthem to start the show.

I have been to many WWE shows here in toronto but this is the first show that I’ve been to with a ton of little kids. The crowd itself was hot all night long for almost every single match. I don’t know if anyone noticed it, but I swear I heard Lillian announce
that the No. 1 contenders match for the Diva’s Title was a Triple Threat
match.

During the commercial break, Trish Stratus showed us what she’s been up to since she’s been away. They had a nice package about her show, which showed Trish traveling the world.

There were a lot of “You Screwed Bret” chants directed towards Shawn Michaels (one of them was started by me).

After the show, Legacy came out and attacked Batista. John Cena came out to make the save but Randy Orton got in the ring and beat down Cena. DX came running down to make it a four-on-three brawl. After getting rid of Legacy, Orton was left alone in the ring and was surrounded by Cena, Batista, Shawn and Triple H in each corner.

First Shawn hit him with the Sweet Chin Music, then Hunter followed it with a Pedigree. Cena then picked him up for the Attitude Adjustment. Before Batista could get his hands on him, Orton rolled out of the ring. The night ended with the babyfaces doing the crotch chops.

Overall the show was fun but would’ve been more fun if the little kids weren’t there. There were a bunch of people sitting behind me who were trying to get a *Blank* you Cena chant but were shushed by the security because one of the parents started complaining.

Biggest pops (as heard from my section)

1. D-X
2. Batista
3. Christian
4. Trish Stratus
5. Chris Jericho (Before he insulted the crowd)

Biggest heats (as heard from my section)

1. Randy Orton
2. John Cena (he was mixed but mostly booed)
3. Chris Jericho (After he insulted the crowd)
4. Legacy
Beth Phoenix.
