Ric Flair’s original NWA “Ten Pounds Of Gold” title belt that he wore from 1981-85 during the Jim Crockett Promotions era is earmarked for auction next week. This was the belt used before the “Big Gold” NWA title was introduced in 1986. Highspots.com who did business with Flair when he retired from wrestling last year, say they will put the belt up for sale on ebay unless Flair pays them back money he owes from a personal loan. Flair has given the company his belt as collateral on the loan. He also owes a substantial amount of money to Ring Of Honor for for personal appearance dateshe was advanced that he pulled out of. The talk among those in the collecting community, is that the beltcould fetch between $60,000 and $100,000.
