– Maryse, who is currently on the injured list, noted she will be visiting friends tonight at Breaking Point.
– As we had previously noted, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the original plan for tonight’s CM Punk vs Undertaker bout was to have Taker win the match. As of now though, the internal movement is for Punk to come out with the victory, but the idea of a clean submission victory was not under serious consideration. Basically, all ideas are out there, and we’ll have to see how the match ends.
– Regarding the Intercontinental Title match being removed from the Breaking Point card, Dave Meltzer reports the decision was finish related, in that they couldn’t come up with a finish in time.
