“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, who is now involved in a storyline with tag team Cryme Tyme, wrote a blog today on WWE universe in which he praised John Cena and also spoke on Victoria’s retirement. Here a few excerpts
On John Cena
“The wrestlers today are maybe better skilled than in my heyday,” Duggan said in a recent WWE Universe chat, “but as a whole, my generation (was) a little more hard-nosed, a little tougher.”
The understood leader of today’s generation of wrestlers is John Cena
, and Duggan says he’s “not really close with John,” but he has respect for Cena as a star.
“Since I’ve been here, he’s been one of the best World Champions we’ve had,” Duggan said. “A real class act.”
On Victoria’s Retirement
“It came without warning, I thought she had a longer career ahead of her. She did what she did and I wish her well.”
